Together, we can help people build stronger communities - we're just getting started. **Summary:** Facebook is seeking a talented attorney to join as EMEA Employment Counsel in our Employment Law Group. The position will report to the Associate General Counsel, Labor & Employment. This is a full time position, to be based in Facebook's London or Dublin office. **Required Skills:** 1. Advise and provide strategic support to HR Business Partners and business leaders on complicated hires, employee terminations, performance management, investigations, accommodations, reorganizations, and other employment-related matters. 2. Interact with and advise leadership to support company initiatives such as diversity strategies, manager development and other employee-related company goals. 3. Drafting and revising employment related agreements and policies, including offer letters, severance agreements, confidentiality agreements, employee handbooks, other policies, and other employment related documents, applicable to Facebook's various global employees. 4. Collaborate with other attorneys on the larger Employment law team with respect to all advice and counseling provided to HR and other cross-functional partners. 5. Participate in creation and delivery of training related to employment law matters, such as harassment training, and other manager training on a variety of topics. 6. Draft and edit employment related documents, policies and processes. 7. Manage pre-litigation and litigation matters **Minimum Qualifications:** 8. LLB or equivalent degree. 9. Qualified lawyer in at least one EMEA jurisdiction with excellent academic credentials. 10. Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in labor and employment counselling including familiarity with employment law and international employment issues across different EMEA countries, with a willingness to learn in new jurisdictions. 11. Experience with coordinating and driving to completion large-scale projects. 12. Candidate must be a hands-on worker and team-player, practical, results-oriented, and able to partner effectively with cross-functional teams to provide strategic solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 13. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary to connect with colleagues in the U.S., LATAM, EMEA and across APAC, and to complete projects in a timely fashion. 14. Strong English communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Other languages are a plus. 15. Willingness and flexibility to travel globally. **Industry:** Internet
