Job Description

We are currently rapidly expanding at AxiomSL London office and require a Regulatory Analyst with a focus on capital that will join our regulatory analysis team. The main duties will include interpreting banking capital regulations for different EMEA jurisdictions and writing solution specifications including business requirements and functional specifications for the solution development team. The right candidate should be able to document information accurately and succinctly, there will be a great level of input into the solution design and scope. This role will also include monitoring and analysing rule changes and assessing impact on the solution. You will have to provide SME input into the sales and marketing publications and materials. Requirements * Interpreting banking capital regulations for different EMEA jurisdictions * Writing solution specifications including Business Requirements and Functional Specifications for the solution development team * Input into solution scope and design * Able to document information accurately and succinctly * Liaising with solution development team, providing SME knowledge * Monitoring and analysing rule changes and assessing impact on the solution * Providing guidance on scenarios to be tested, creating test cases, test data and expected results * Providing SME input into sales and marketing publications and materials * The role will be mainly internal facing, with some client interaction and may require occasional travel * A good knowledge and practical experience of one of the following areas of regulation * CRD IV and Risk-weighted Asset (RWA) calculations including credit risk, market risk, operational risk, credit valuation adjustments, default fund contribution and leverage ratio thorough understanding of data requirements and capital calculation * Standardized Approach for Measuring Counterparty Credit Risk Exposures (SA-CCR) * Single Counterparty Credit Risks Limits (SCCL) * Basel III & IV and CRR2 * Solvency * A good understanding of key banking products - bonds, loans, deposits, guarantees, collateral, repos, reverse repos,prime brokerage, derivatives * Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team in a dynamic environment and to deadlines * A strong sense of ownership. Ability to work independently and take initiative. * Ability and willingness to work hard to quickly learn new topics, systems and processes * Highly organised and methodical approach * Attention to detail and accuracy is essential * Self-motivated attitude
