As a Software UI Engineer, you will be focused on bringing rich experiences to life primarily leveraging web-based technologies. The experiences you build can range from branded content-focused campaign experiences to deep data-driven tools and services. Requirements * Hand-code web and mobile based application * Design front-end application and collaborate with designers to build interactive web experiences * Follow and create technical specifications * Document and diagram complex web applications * Collaborate with other software engineers and QA engineers (both at Karmarama and with our clients) in an Agile fashion. * Scope, estimate, and prioritise work * Peer review others code and give actionable feedback Ideally you: * Are passionate about Web Standards and quality software development * Understand cross-browser/platform issues and solutions * Understand on-page SEO and Accessibility * Have a strong understanding of web performance analysis and optimisation * Have a good knowledge of working with REST / GraphQL services and 3rd party APIs using AJAX / JSONp. * are a self-starter who can take the initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision Benefits We believe in Good Works.
