Job Description
My client is a specialist in providing lifting solutions to companies throughout the UK since 1957. They have a number of branches situated ideally throughout various locations throughout the country and are currently seeking to expand their current team of Engineers in the West Midlands. The role for the Crane Service Engineer will involve; * The repair, servicing and maintenance of jib cranes, hoists, beams, overhead cranes and gantries. * Working within a 60 mile radius of the company branch on a daily basis within the Midlands. * Being required to work away for up to 4 weeks per year (in two week stints) at various sites within the UK. * Taking part in an out of hours call-out rota covering the Midlands on a 1 week in 4 basis. * Working within a small team to modernise, refurbish or modify existing installed equipment. To be considered for the role of the Crane Service Engineer, you will ideally have; * Electrical and mechanical experience with a supporting qualification. * The ability to fault find on a range of cranes and lifting equipment accurately. * Have attended at least a LEEA foundation course. * Hold an NVQ 3 / BTEC in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification. * Hold a full UK driving license. * The rights to work within the UK.
