Our client is looking for Corporate Communications Manager
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES
Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications, Public Relations or similar field.
Ten (10) years’ experience in the Communications field with at least five (5) years in a managerial role preferably in a similar type of organisation.
Mature thinking, professionally positioned.
Experience managing team members to deliver.
Experience in the Comms sphere to include stakeholder engagement, strategic comms delivery, etc.
Ability to coach and mentor current team members to improve ways of working.
Supports the Head Quarters Comms team in the delivery of key initiatives whilst working with the local Comms team to deliver objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the internal and external communications programme locally. Develops communication plans and ensures there is consistent messages and flow of corporate news across the business and to key external audiences.
Executes communications strategy, writing/editing content, overseeing the design, print production and distribution of content, acquiring stakeholder approvals as needed.
Manages content production (including videos, infographics, and marketing collateral) collaborating with external partners as required.
Ensures consistency in the roll-out of the corporate brand, across all entities. Increases brand awareness and recognition among internal and external stakeholders.
Understands crisis communication principles and provides timely and considered communications support particularly to the Management Team.
Champions and ensures the delivery and required communication support for all corporate activities and events.
Maintains oversight of key deliverables related to the country’s strategic and operational communication plans.
Monitors and reports on key performance indicators, proposing recommendations for consideration to ensure that fulfillment of assigned KPI’s.
Leads the performance, development, and engagement of existing team members.
Performs any other related functions and duties as required.
