Librarian

Our client is looking for Librarian

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate must possess an accredited Master’s degree in Library and Information Science.
Significant experience in providing teaching, learning and research support services to students and members of faculty

Experience in managing teams and working cross functionally

Experience conducting outreach and liaison services

Capacity to contribute to the development of library services through the harnessing of appropriate technologies and communication channels

Facility in the review, evaluation, selection, and deselection of print/electronic library resources for purchase in accordance with academic and institutional goals

Competence in the development policies and procedures to ensure quality service

Responsibilities:

• Keeps and maintains accurate records of all non-print materials, equipment, and supplies

• Classifies and/or catalogs all non-print materials in varied formats

• Organizes and maintains the online digital repository system

• Identifies and recommends Audio Visual instructional materials and equipment for purchase to supplement the school’s curriculum needs

• Plans and finalizes the annual budget

• Performs other office-related tasks as may be assigned
