Our client is looking for PETROLEUM ENGINEERS:


QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institute of higher education with a major study in civil, environmental, chemical, or sanitary engineering.

1 to 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in civil, environmental, chemical, or sanitary engineering.


RESPONSIBILITIES :

Coordinates with responsible party’s consultants to build and approve submitted work scope and change order budgets for required remedial activities.

Reviews, adjusts, and recommends payments of claims for the Petroleum Reimbursement Funds in accordance with agency rules and policies to ensure completed work matches approved work scopes and change orders.

Researches and recommends improved technical standards for the design and operation of remediation systems based upon technological advances and/or forensics of petroleum discharges causing contaminated vapor, soil and/or groundwater.

Assesses agency rules and policies applied to specific contaminated sites and evaluates the adequacy of agency procedures to determine the need to develop new or changed rules and policies.
