UK Principal Program Manager Job Description Job Location: London Salary: Competitive Posting Date: 15/06/2020 Closing Date: 13/07/2020 We are seeking a Principal Program Manager as a member of the UK Management Team (MTeam) and Consumer Leadership Team (CLT), reporting directly to the UK Country Manager (CM) to support the development and delivery of UK goals. This is a highly visible role which serves as a program leader, stakeholder manager and consultant on numerous business topics. The Principal Program Manager works with the CM and MTeam, owning key mechanisms to communicate the strategy and business updates, and assisting in problem solving across the organization. Core Responsibilities of the role include: Help the UK CM carry out efficient and effective management by: - Driving and developing standard mechanisms and processes, such as Q4 readiness, OP1 / OP2 / WBR / QBR planning and preparation / other SVP business review planning and preparation - Providing updates and summarizing data and documents for the CM on key programs and processes - Building and managing agendas/key topics for weekly/monthly MTeam meetings and Team offsites - Own tracking and program management of follow up actions and initiatives across MTeam - Stay connected with stakeholders across all EU marketplaces and engage with senior leaders/ managers in all locations. Creating content for periodical update emails and all-hands meetings as well as internal and external presentations - Participate in M Team meetings and other senior leader forums including strategic business reviews - Deputizes for the CM in meetings as required Facilitate senior leadership decisions and processes by: - Building and driving mechanisms to ensure delivery on key topics and actions from MTeam meetings - Monitoring progress against UK goals (Flagship, Steam, CLT, QBR), providing guidance and escalation as required to ensure goals are achieved - Identifying recurring defects or processes that need stronger documentation and ownership and building mechanisms to ensure defects are fixed Directly lead and/or support key projects across the UK business, examples include: - Leading key programs (Maths4All) - Leading re-launch of the WBR Decks
