The PCE Sciences group aims to help pharmaceutical and biotech companies reliably measure and interpret the patient's story about their disease and treatment experiences. Through this we can derive meaningful outcomes and ultimately improve the life and health of patients. We are looking to hire Scientific Advisors with relevant experience in either COA/PRO research, PPI Research, Qualitative analysis of patient-generated data, Statistical analysis of patient-generated data, Psychometrics, or Medical and Technical Writing. This will ideally be in an RWE setting. Your primary role will be to support the project lead on client facing or internal projects. This will allow the opportunity to participate in all phases of PCE Sciences projects, from design to final presentation. For this, we would like to know that you have some understanding and/or experience in: * Design, conduct and analysis of qualitative and/or quantitative RWE research studies, such as: * Implementation of COA/PRO in real-world settings/observational studies of comparative effectiveness, safety and cost * Qualitative interviews among a clinical practice population * PPI research, including stated and revealed preference studies * Observational studies for COA/PRO psychometric validation * Communicating study findings to pharmaceutical and biotech clients * Disseminating study findings in publications * Working in multi-disciplinary teams Whilst we are looking for someone with relevant experience in applying our core scientific services in an RWE setting, the current position will also allow the opportunity to participate in other PCE Sciences projects. For this, we would like to know that you have some understanding and/or experience in: * Developing proposals/research plans to deliver insightful, value-added research in response to client needs * Leveraging both primary and secondary data in the development of novel research objectives * Applying and/or interpreting Classical or Modern Test Theory psychometric methods. * Sharing subject matter expertise with others to help develop individuals and capabilities delivering world-class solutions for clients * The scientific process of COA/PRO development * The drug development lifecycle, including phases of development and regulations In return, we will offer you a rewarding and progressive career in life sciences consulting. About You Candidates interested in joining our Patient Centered Endpoints teamas a Scientific Advisor should have: * A relevant advanced academic degree (e.g. public health, epidemiology, psychology, sociology, health economics) * Training in COA/PRO, PPI and/or RWE methods * Understanding of healthcare regulatory processes * Excellent oral and written communication and confident presentation skills Ideally candidates will have at least 2 years of RWE experience. Those without RWE experience but with broader patient-centered research experience of a similar duration would also be considered.
