You will be able to plan ahead working on a 6 week rolling roster with condensed days to enable maximum time at home with family. You will become part of the Virgin Tribe. Feel Proud You will have a full and current unrestricted GMC registration on the GP Register and a MRCGP member. With strong communication and organisational skills, and a flexible approach will ensure you deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their journey. As the GP you will provide complete consultations with assessment, treatment and management of patients of all ages presenting with primary care problems at the Urgent Treatment Centre. You will work as part of the wider clinical team including Nurse Practitioners, Paramedics, HCAs and fellow GPs. Investigating and debriefing on incidents as a team and supporting each other's personal and professional development Working within the Urgent Care team, you will be able to treat a full mix of patients including trauma not letting your acute skills go to waste! Your quick decisions and use of internal and external referral pathways will make a true difference to the Lancashire community. You will be based primarily in Ormskirk and Skelmersdale Walk in Centre. Feel Inspired 'Paramedics are now on hand to provide additional support to local people when they visit Urgent Care centres in Ormskirk and Skelmersdale. As part of a service review Elaine Wilson, Head of Urgent Care in West Lancashire for Virgin Care, came up with the plan to add additional skills to the centre and improve the services for local people ensuring they feel the difference.'
