Job Description
As a Trust we are one maternity service across two clinical sites and the community. This role would involve working across both sites in Brighton and Haywards Heath providing leadership to the maternity team. This pivotal post will promote clinical leadership in professional midwifery practice and be responsible for high standards of care within the delivery suite setting. As a Band 7 you will need band seven midwifery experience and a sound knowledge of all aspects of intrapartum care. The successful applicant will be an experienced midwife and able to demonstrate effective leadership and communication. BSUH has approximately 5000 births a year and achieved the national directive of 51% of CoC . We were rated as GOOD in our latest CQC inspection and committed to providing excellent care to all our service users. We are the national leaders with our Transgender Inclusivity programme.
