Job Description
Ruthven Ward is a 24 bedded mixed sex ward providing assessment and care for people with dementia and associated symptoms of stress and distress. Applicants should demonstrate awareness of current research in Dementia Care, and the use of Therapeutic Psychological and Behavioural approaches. The successful candidate will be motivated, demonstrate a commitment towards the continued development of patient focused care whilst fostering a therapeutic ward environment. This position would suit those who wish to be part of an evolving service that recognises the diverse and complex needs of the older person and their carers. The successful applicant will receive guidance support and encouragement to develop their knowledge and skills relating to the client group.
