We are looking for a talented and passionate Software Engineer to join the Sun engineering team in our London Bridge Office. Day to day you will: work in partnership with the Product Managers and BA's across the Sun portfolio to ensure that requirements are accurately captured and reflected in every initiative, managing the backlog to ensure alignment across priorities. You will need to have a constant stream of communication and activity management with the various data and analytical teams to ensure that their priorities map to ours to enable accurate reporting to be gleaned from launch. You will also work with the Head of Experimentation to ensure that our experimentation program is fully supported through the planning experiments and identifying experiment success metrics and next steps through interrogation of results. What we're looking for from you: You are a software engineer with a passion for writing amazing code. Someone who is always thinking about the underlying software architecture and how we can continually improve it. You value clean code and live by S.O.L.I.D. principles as well as being an advocate of Test Driven Development and understand why it's important to the way you write code. You will enjoy pair programming and collaborating with others, whilst working in an Agile environment and know the value of the agile ceremonies. You have: + Experience in Javascript with a focus on React + Experience with Functional Programming in Javascript + Experience with Node JS and Express + Experience with Redux + Experience with Typescript + Experience in testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Enzyme Bonus if you have: + Experience in AWS cloud platform + Experience in working with Webpack + Experience with React Storybook + An understanding of Isomorphic / Universal javascript + Experience developing against Wordpress API's + Ability to performance test high traffic websites + Understanding of SEO + Experience in creating / managing Circle CI infrastructure and jobs.
