Our high performing IP team in Scotland undertake a broad range of challenging Front-End design activities across IP Controller Design, Verification, Emulation, FPGA validation, Software Development and Quality Assurance. Cadence's Headquarters are in Silicon Valley, USA, with a global workforce of over 8000, across sites in 21 countries. Cadence have held a presence in Scotland for over 21 years and are now looking to expand our IP Controller team as we move to our new Central Edinburgh Design Centre in 2020. Position Requirements: Experience of Verilog RTL Design essential . Experience of Metric Driven Verification (MDV) essential Experience of Storage protocols (SD, Octal SPI, ONFI Flash, eMMC) essential Experience of Front-end design tools covering LINT, Synthesis, CDC Analysis essential. Experience of AMBA protocols such as AXI, AHB & APB preferred Awareness of SoC Architecture and Development with Flash Storage preferred Awareness of Assertion Based Formal verification preferred Be outward going and communicate easily Be a trusted, mature and commercially aware team player Be located in Edinburgh with some travel worldwideCandidate Qualifications:- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related discipline.- 3+ years' experience in microelectronics/EDA industry- Excellent oral and written English- Self-motivated with excellent planning, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills We're doing work that matters.
