Job Description
Scope Personnel are happy to be recruiting on behalf of our busy client for a HGV Technician. The successful applicant must be enthusiastic, reliable and hard working with both skill and experience working on HGVs and will be expected to work to a consistently high quality in everything they do. This position will be working an alternating shift pattern which is Monday - Friday - 06:00am - 14:30pm / Monday - Friday - 12:00pm - 21:00pm. Duties include: * Inspection and repair of vehicles to DVSA standards including MOT preparation and presentation to test; * Fault diagnosis including the use of specialist market leading diagnostic equipment; * General mechanical and electrical repairs; * Offsite working, including breakdown attendance * A focus on customer service and a dedication to keeping our customer's vehicles on the road and minimising downtime Hourly rate is around £13ph but is negotiable with a time and 1/2 overtime rate.
