Musculoskeletal Podiatrist

We have an opportunity for a specialist musculoskeletal Podiatrist at our Greenwich site. Circle are a leading healthcare provider for integrated care and have an opportunity for a Specialist Musculoskeletal Podiatrist to join a proactive multidisciplinary team. Circle MSK Greenwich is a pioneer in patient car and are looking for a motivated and forward thinking individual to join the team. You will be a valued member of a forward thinking, innovative team, delivering high quality, best practice treatment to NHS patients in Greenwich. The service is focused on continuous improvement and providing quality driven care to patients. Providing advance musculoskeletal podiatric medicine assessment, diagnosis and treatment. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary clinic with direct contact with GPwSI, Orthopaedics, rheumatologists, physiotherapists, Extended Scope Physiotherapy and Extended Scope Podiatry. You will be able to provide advanced neurological & biomechanical assessment of foot, ankle and lower leg to identify the correct management plan or patient pathway using best practice and evidenced based medicine. The successful applicant will be competent or willing to work towards competencies in: * Shockwave therapy * OTC orthotic manufacture * Custom made orthotic manufacture/casting and prescribing * Injection therapy ( LA and corticosteroid ) * Diagnostic ultrasonography / Guided injection therapy * IRMER (onsite radiology department ) * Request imaging such as X-Ray, Ultrasound or MRI to aid diagnosis * Biomechanical examinations /Complex musculoskeletal examinations and treatment. * Use of Optogait * Proficient in rehabilitation or exercise management 37.5 hours per week full time employed. Inclusive of London Weighting. Part time hours and job share will be considered. Hours are usually Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. There is flexibility with the working hours and week days. With the successful candidate having the choice to work Saturdays instead of a week day if desired.
