This application development studio creates custom high quality and technically diverse projects on multiple platforms from mobiles to websites. The team is based in Liverpool within the trendy Baltic Triangle area, just 10 minutes walk from the city centre. This small team is looking for a talented and experienced Full Stack Developer to start ASAP. This role will suit a confident and passionate developer with the desire and ability to learn. The candidate will share their time between client-side javascript coding with React and server-side Node.js on Amazon Web Services. Candidates must also be experienced in the core web technologies such as, Protocols, HTML, Javascript, SQL, etc. This is an opportunity to learn Design, Development and Delivery of auto-scaling cloud based systems and you will be supported to become AWS certified as such. Key Duties & Responsibilities * Delivering web frontends from UI designs and mock-ups * Discussing and designing server-side cloud architecture * Discussing and designing database schemas * Delivering server-side cloud architecture * Delivering APIs for use in web and mobile frontends * Supporting mobile client developers to interface with cloud APIs * Support legacy codebase and platforms * Load testing * Taking an active part in project discussions regarding features, usability and design * Focusing on user experience * Track progress via JIRA task management platform Working Location At present, because of the COVID pandemic, all work is being carried out at home. However, this will change and normal working hours of 9-5pm at our Liverpool office will resume at some point. Due to the urgent nature of this role, remote interviews will be held as and when candidates and staff are available. Candidates with a portfolio to demonstrate their programming ability will be more likely to receive an interview, please ensure any programming experience - personal or professional - is included in a cover letter.
