* Personal Injury Solicitor * Wilmslow * Competitive salary and benefits package on offer A highly attractive position has arisen for a qualified Personal Injury Solicitor (ideally 5-7 years PQE) to join our Multi-Track team. This is a great opportunity to join a forward thinking practice with an excellent reputation within the industry. The ideal candidate must have substantial experience in Multi-Track Claimant Personal Injury work covering EL, OL, and PL. The successful candidate will need to have strong negotiating skills and be an experienced and confident litigator. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure cases are progressed in a timely, efficient and proactive manner. * Liaising with clients, experts, barristers, third party solicitors as necessary. * Dealing with all aspects of pre and post issue procedures in a timely and cost effective manner. Pursuing cases to conclusion. * Ensuring all actions as per Proclaim Action List are completed in a timely fashion. * Reviewing and summarising medical and personnel records * Maintaining client files in good order in accordance with Lexcel requirements. * Managing a Proclaim task list in a timely manner * Accurate time recording. * Attending clients, taking instructions and preparing cases * Implementing any recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews ensuring that these are dealt with promptly. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * We envisages the successful solicitor to have 5 years + PQE, with experience dealing with a broad range of Multi-Track PI matters. * A high level of technical skills and a proven track record in handling complex/high value cases to a successful conclusion. * Clear understanding and application of Multi-Track Law * Attention to detail * Excellent client care skills to include a good telephone manner * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Flexible and willing to commit to achieving results and meeting deadlines * Ability to form and execute case planning and strategies * Keen analytical skills * Good organisational skills and able to effectively prioritise * Ability to form and execute case planning and strategies * Experience in using Proclaim is preferable but not necessary * Experience in supervision * Desire to work in a small team environment with a senior solicitor and others * Desire to contribute to the growth and development of a dynamic team Familiarity with Proclaim or a similar case management system would be an advantage.
