Behaviours: Knowledge of relevant procedures Level of customer Service Team Player Health and safety awareness and knowledge Communication Job Description * To perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on all associated * equipment, including electrical maintenance/fault finding and repair on switch and control equipment, distribution systems and motor driven plant. * Operation of plant and equipment. Inspection of electrical equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation in accordance with agreed procedures and company quality standards. * Perform repairs/modifications as appropriate and provide prompt and correct documentation of incidents * Participate in the upkeep of records on servicing of plant and equipment and maintaining the plant asset registers. * To be willing and capable of using the company Maximo FSM job card system as a means of day to day working and to collect work orders and prioritise * Participate in adherence to MITIE Services Quality System documentation. * To identify spares requirements for the performance of the maintenance tasks. To liaise with the Maintenance Line Manager for their procurement and manage the resulting stocks of spares. * Taking and logging of all meter readings when required. * Coordinate with the Line Manager any overtime requirements. * Arrange with the client suitable access to equipment for maintenance requirements. * Ensure work orders show the correct asset details, materials used and time spent on the task and that communications are maintained between the client and MTFM relating to their progress. * To assess Health & Safety requirements of tasks and to arrange for all necessary Safety Permits, Method Statements and Risk Assessments to be raised and monitored to ensure the task is completed in a safe and efficient manner. * To effect the operation of the planned Preventative Maintenance Programme. * To report on all accidents. * To observe visiting sub contractor's staff and to report on non-conformances or safety violations. * To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time. * To understand and comply with policies and procedures. * To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner. * To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures. * To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required. To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required. Qualifications Qualification : * 17th or 18th edition IEE Regulations * NVQ level 3 in Electrical * Building Services skills in a client focussed environment. * Good Verbal and written communications skills. * Commercial awareness. * Planning skills. * Customer care/relationship skills. * Basic IT skills.
