Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for 2 Production Operatives to work in their facility in Welshpool There will be a lot of heavy lifting involved with these jobs and you could be lifting up to 25-30KG For the successful Production Operative our client is offering: * Starting pay rate of £9.09 per hour * 3 week Rotation shift (Including days and nights) 12 hour shifts * Permanent position available for the right person * Overtime available * Free parking * 4.5% Company pension contribution * 3x Death In Service * Income Protection Scheme * Free Employee Assistance Programme * Corporate gym membership The role: Production Operative: * Provide full support and assistance to the skilled machinists * Manual Handling weights of approximately 25kg x 5 per hour per shift * Full training on all machinery What our client is looking for in a Production Operative: * Experience within a production environment is preferred, preferably with experience of automated processes. * Experience of working as part of a team and a flexible approach to work is essential, including the ability to work the required shift pattern in line with the business needs * Applicants should be conscientious and have experience of checking products to ensure they meet quality standards * Sound verbal and numerical skills are required for this position * Applicants must have good attendance and timekeeping record * Good communication skills are essential * Basic PC skills are required * Full training will be provided Key skills or similar Job titles: Machine Operator / Press Operative / Production operative / Warehouse Operative / Production Assistant / Process operative / line operative / Assembly operative / Skilled operative / Mechanical Assembly Commutable From: Welshpool / Newtown / Oswestry / Ellesmere / Shrewsbury / Ellesemre / Wrexham /Telford For further information about this and other positions please apply now.
