This is paired with meticulous and attentive execution and conservative risk management. THE ROLE: We are seeking a quantitative portfolio manager to join Maven Investment Partners Ltd, the proprietary trading arm of Maven. This is a full-time permanent role based in London and remuneration comprises of an annual base salary plus a discretionary bonus. ROLE SPECIFICATIONS * Research, development and implementation and management of systematic strategies; * Management of the life cycle of all ideas; & * Close collaboration on ideas with existing Quant PMs; * To comply with all applicable Compliance policies, procedures, laws and regulations. CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS The successful candidates will demonstrate a deep understanding of the particular systematic inefficiency they attempt to capture. They will have been heavily involved in the research of the strategy as well as its implementation, and are able to develop new strategies from idea to implementation. In addition, the PM will have a solid understanding of the dynamics of markets, and use these dynamics to display a qualitative appreciation of when their strategy performs well and poorly. * 3+ years experience as a PM, or 4-5 years as an assistant PM; * Realised Sharpe >2.5; * Display track record of strategy; * Deep understanding of strategy; * Strong coding skills; * Strong researching skills; * Masters or PHD in scientific subject.
