Behaviours: Knowledge of relevant procedures Level of customer Service Team Player Health and safety awareness and knowledge Communication Job Description The successful candidate must have the ability to work effectively and 40 hours per week at 10.70 per hour, both in collaboration with other professionals / teams and on their own initiative. Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to relate to young people, parents,colleagues and external agencies is essential, as is knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements and of security and emergency procedures. You will remain available out of hours and at weekends to deal with on-site emergencies (e.g. late night burglar / fire alarm alerts, police calls etc.) This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent handy skills, who has worked within a similar environment and a competitive salary The school is committed to the safeguarding of young people and that the successful candidate must pass an enhanced disclosure and barring service check. Additional Information Health and Safety responsibilities * Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times; * Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment; * Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received; * Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system; Information Security * Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities; * Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager; * Report actual and suspected security incidents; Note This job description Is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for this position and the range of duties undertaken.
