How we help our customers Fospha are a fast growing, friendly team trusted to deliver real impact to businesses wanting to harness their data and optimise their marketing. We use the power of AI to drive multi-touch attribution modelling to provide marketers with an understanding of the end-to-end customer journey, in order to optimise their cost of customer acquisition and lifetime value. We are very well funded and count many FTSE 100 companies and high growth start-ups as our clients. Our marketing analytics product is used in the real world to solve real problems. We are attracting interest from engineers that want to experiment with and build the next version of our platform. Our prototypes and proof of concepts that will soon hit production will utilise more technologies such as Scala and Kafka to further process and enrich real-time algorithms which are truly disrupting the industries we target, we will do this both through our enriched data and our client's own eco systems. We currently have a very robust application suite that evolves with each new hire, we value securityand data complianceto the highest possible standards. Our clients really value these things which is why we are taking a steady approach to building a brand new system from the ground up to eventually supersede it over the next 18-24 months. The Role Due to the increase in demand for our attribution products, we're looking for technical geeks to join our team. You should be a developer, or a senior developer, expert with the Java technology stack. If you've worked with the Microsoft technology stacks, that would be a bonus. You should be well versed in Design Patterns - to create sustainable architectures. Your passion for technology should shine through. What you need You will need to be a creative thinker. Be approachable and listen to what people need and want, both from other disciplines and within your own team. Be able to communicate your ideas and vision to the programming team. You should inspire and motivate the programming team Have excellent people management and communication skills, including tact and diplomacy. You should be able resolve conflicts and solve problems. You should be experienced in Java with spring and SQL Server. Working knowledge of Scala would be beneficial. You'll need to be familiar with TDD (Test Driven Development) and the tools to boot. We expect that you'll have spent time learning how to create high quality product - right first time. You'll be so excited by technology that you'll be researching new products to improve code all the time. You should have worked with unit testing products such as Junit. You will have used tools such as Mockito to create mock objects. You will be passionate about quality and will have checked your code coverage using Cobertura or similar. We use IntelliJ as our IDE. You'll probably have knowledge of JQuery, HTML5, Javascript. Knowledge of working on reporting tools like IBM Cognos analytics would be huge advantage. You will have worked on system integration and any knowledge that you have gained of message brokers would be beneficial - although not essential.
