The Role This is a role for an experienced Technical Writer with strong communication and organisational skills to determine and lead our documentation strategy. Your aim will be to elevate our content, its organisation and the processes to a world-class standard, collaborating closely across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams as we go to market with new features and capabilities. This role involves hands on writing activities, guiding others in the Technical Writers Guild and collaborating across the business to establish clear and efficient Product communications. In this Role you can expect to: * Own the full process of planning, writing, publishing clearly written, customer communications with quality visual images * Maintain a consistency of structure and style across our Product communications * Lead a gap analysis of our existing documentation set and work with stakeholders to prioritise improvements. Establish a method for ongoing prioritisation and periodic review. * Maintain our style guide, ensuring our language, terminology and tone of voice is consistent throughout our product * Further shape and drive our Product documentation strategy * Mentor others in our Technical Writers Guild (a team of 4) and beyond, for example, provide coaching in single source authoring concepts. * Understand our customer needs; evaluate different techniques to ensure our user experience is intuitive and documentation is kept simple. * Build up a high level of product material knowledge, to share with your team and teams across Gentrack * Work on initiatives and process improvements to support the wider Product Development group * Liaise with wider business stakeholders to align Product Development efforts and progress our company goals and objectives.
