Behaviours: Knowledge of relevant procedures Level of customer Service Team Player Health and safety awareness and knowledge Communication Job Description Job objectives and responsibilities Assisting the Contract Manager, you will form part of the on site teams and be responsible for carrying out commercial plumbing and drainage maintenance and monitoring works to various mobile sites in London. Additional mechanical works will be carried out as required to support the contract. Main duties Assist Contract Manager in organisation, management and co-ordination of on-site services to ensure service is maintained to the highest standard in all circumstances Ability to carry out minor surveys and inspections Simple Report writing is essential to the role. Achieve contract SLA/KPI in all reactive / planned work orders across all service lines for the contract site. To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time To learn, understand and comply with all MITIE & Client policies and procedures To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner, using point of work risk assessments where required. To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required To ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements and to assist in any training of the team. If requested, to assist with the monitoring and supervision on a day to day basis, including apprentices. This to include assisting with the processing and completion of college reports if required. To perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on all associated water services equipment, including fault diagnostics and repair. Participate in adherence to MITIE Quality System documentation. To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time To understand and comply with policies and procedures. Qualifications Person Specification & Qualifications: Previous experience within this type of commercial plumbing, drainage and mechanical building services role. Adaptable building services skills to include commercial plumbing maintenance and reactive repairs on hot and cold water systems, calorifiers, point of use water heaters, booster sets, tanks, drainage and sanitary ware and associated fitments. Where required, maintenance to HVAC systems will be included. Knowledge and experience in carrying out PPM, fault diagnostics and rectification on FCU's, booster sets, pumps, calorifiers, cooling towers and associated systems. ACOPS Control of Legionella L8/HSG274 training or willingness to undertake. Associated knowledge and skills of carpentry & tiling would be beneficial to the role to further support the on site teams. IOSH Passport certified in Health and Safety or willing to undertake. Excellent communication skills both written and spoken. Able to meet the physical requirements of the role; e.g.: working at height. Flexible attitude to work. IPAF / PASMA certificate or willing to undertake training Excellent Customer
