Job Description

2 full time and 1 part time (0.8wte) posts - 1 year Fixed Term An opportunity has arisen for 3 x 8a Clinical or Counselling Psychologists to join NHS Highland's Psychological Service for a year. The post-holders will be based within the Adult Mental Health Specialty undertaking assessments for those people currently on the waiting list and offering brief evidence based group and individual interventions. The post-holders will be members of the wider Psychological Service which is a growing and dynamic service consisting of Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, CBT Psychotherapists, and CAAPs. We take Trainees from the Glasgow University D.Clin.Psych Course, as well as CAAP trainees and Health Psychology Trainees. This is an exciting time to join NHS Highland's Department of Psychological Services as we embark on an organisational change in service provision across Highland leading to future opportunities for those involved and a chance to help develop the service of the future.
