Amazon is looking to hire a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Trainer to deliver first-class support for our UK Team in one of our Fulfillment Center [FC] locations in UK. This role reports to the Learning Manager, and includes the following core responsibilities: The PIT Trainer works with operations managers, area managers, production assistants, and associates to execute and track the site's PIT Training Program. The PIT Trainer constantly improves the long-term capabilities of the area to which he/she is assigned. The overall objective of this role is to provide hourly associates and managers with PIT training. The Trainer will: Be certified to operate each piece of PIT equipment that the site uses Support the PIT training needs of the Fulfillment Center Coordinate all PIT Training activities including re-certifications Effectively executes network standard training program Audits the execution of PIT ambassador training delivery Provide ongoing support to the PIT ambassadors Partner with Operations and Safety to ensure network standard training materials are accurate to FC conditions and equipment type Respond to ticketing system request and complete per expedited timeline Maintain site's PIT training records and documentation BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Qualified to operate counterbalance with six months operational experience. Proficiency in computer usage, email, MS Office Suite Prior PIT operating experience Organization skills-able to handle multiple and changing projects/priorities Be prepared to take ownership and get involved from the very start Ability to give and receive feedback effectively PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience delivering PIT training/information to peers and senior management, both individually and in groups Willingness to work different shifts and different areas Ability to give and receive feedback effectively Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing direction About our rewards If you thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment, you'll meet your match with us, as you will be part of a vibe of constant improvement, where the things you do one moment, you will not necessarily be doing 6 months later.
