About the job: You will manage all aspects of site maintenance, ensuring the smooth running of the sites equipment, plant, and services, by managing themaintenance team members and temporary staff as required to ensure the smooth running of the site infrastructure. What you will be doing : * Maintain all on site equipment and infrastructure, including where necessary organising and managing contractors responsible for installs, maintenance and service. * Maintain and own maintenance planner, procedures, and logs and their implementation including routine testing and maintenance * Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and domestic electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring * Rewire faulty electrical systems, such as lighting, heating systems, and alarms * Develop maintenance schedules and enforce them among maintenance staff * Perform troubleshooting to solve electrical, minor and medium repair issues * Carry out and/or commission statutory inspections as required * Respond to emergency calls for maintenance (on call) Communicate equipment, building and plant faults, changes and rectification plans Audit tools and equipment Manage maintenance team members Perform administrative tasks as required * Delegate tasks to meet maintenance schedule and requirements. * Identify areas for improvement and assign workers to take care of issues * Communicate plans for improvements, defect records and rectifications to both management and maintenance technicians * Maintain records of defects for continuous improvement Who you are: * You have an Electrical qualification * You have previous electrical experience in Lighting, Wiring, Alarm Systems and Fire Prevention Systems essential. * Desirable previous experience in a warehouse / production facility (Automated Conveying Systems withlabel applicators scanners and lidding machines,thermoforming equipment, refrigeration plant (CO2), hi-speed roller doors, dock levelers, lighting, plumbing (including vacuum system), access control, MHE and other electrical equipment. * Electrical Maintenance ability, able to undertake diagnostics, fault finding, well organisation, with a valid Driver's License. Will need to include occasional weekend working and willingness to support a 24/7 operation in regards of specific requirements towards planned and unscheduled maintenance.
