As a DevOps Engineer , you are required to work as a member of the IT Operations Team designing, delivering and maintaining the systems and services that support multiple software development teams. * Day to day administration of development systems and their virtual server environments: * Jira, Bitbucket, Crucible, Confluence, Subversion, Sonarqube, Nexus, Jenkins. * ESX, Docker and desktop virtualisation tools. * Ongoing maintenance including patching and upgrading of developer systems. * Design and implementation of new services as required by the development teams. * Level 1-3 Helpdesk support for internal systems Qualifications Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to expand our team through the recruitment of a DevOps Engineer to join our IT operations team in Stockport. What distinguishes you as our ideal DevOps Engineer? As our ideal candidate, you will possess either Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent industrial experience. You will be able to demonstrate experience of working with an IT/Cloud infrastructure development, support framework, and possess strong IT skills. You will also require: * Excellent documentation skills * Dedication to high quality on time delivery. * Strong technical and analytical skills combined with dependable process compliance. Desirable Skills * Experience of customer service within an IT support background. * Experience in architecting, estimating costs and solutions built on cloud based infrastructure * Experience of administrating Linux and Windows Server environments * Experience of the deployment of aforementioned tools and methods in particular Atlassian Additional Information Why work for Bosch?
