What does a Product Designer do at Busuu? As a Product Designer at Busuu, you will have the opportunity to create delightful and engaging experiences, pushed to millions of users every day. You will lead design projects in your squad across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches. You will partner with product managers and engineers to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges and you will work closely with engineers as they build and ship ideas. You will get to know our users and leverage their feedback to quickly ideate, design, iterate, and launch products and features they love and at the same time, meet business needs. We are growing our strong design team and you will be part of this by creating a strong design culture across the company, encouraging feedback, helping to build and improve our new brand and design system. What we're looking for in a Product Designer: * Ability to produce polished, high-fidelity mockups and prototypes of product workflows * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills * Must be customer-centric, exceptionally detail-oriented, and results-driven * Have a growth mindset, test and measure your design solutions with a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods * Work collaboratively in a flexible way with other designers, product managers, researchers, engineers and stakeholders * Be confident to work and improve an evolving brand and design system * Have a keen interest in illustration and iconography In return we will ensure that you have: * Flexible working hours. The hiring process for the Product Designer role are the following 4 steps: * CV application review - We will review it as quickly as possible and update on the next steps * Let's chat - Quick chat about your experience and the role * Portfolio review - You will be asked to prepare 1 or 2 case studies and then present it to the design team in the interview * Design challenge and meet the team - You will be asked to complete a challenge and present to the design team, after that 1/1.5 hours meeting with someone from the product and engineering teams
