To be responsible for the day-to-day operational management, implementation and delivery of Clwstwr. This role will work with colleagues across the team to ensure the effective and timely development and delivery of processes and deliverables in order to deliver the programme. The role holder will assess programme needs, prepare timelines, identify key milestones and plans, oversee processes in order to ensure that deadlines and KPIs are achieved. Applicants will need to be resilient, enthusiastic problem solvers, with excellent skills in process development, implementation and monitoring, internal communication, and monitoring and managing milestones and KPIs. Clwstwr is an exciting and ambitious initiative funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and Creative Wales/Welsh Government, involving a wide range of creative industry partners across South Wales. Led by Cardiff University In partnership with the University of South Wales and Cardiff Metropolitan University, Clwstwr aims to put innovation at the core of the cluster and build a model for promoting growth and prosperity in the Welsh screen and screen-related industries, building on the success of the Welsh screen sector and moving it from strength to global leadership. The contracted working hours of this post can be flexible, and we encourage applications from those looking to work either full time hours (35 hours per week) or part time hours of no less than 21 hours per week. This role is available until December 2021. Salary: 33,797 - 40,322 per annum (Grade 6) or pro-rata for part-time hours. Post Reference Number: 9899BR Job Description: * To provide professional and effective support to the Director and COO for the delivery of the Clwstwr programme including taking responsibility for specific work packages. * To ensure that objectives and deadlines are met in relation to current funding calls and the funded cohort/s. * To ensure that future funding calls (open, seed and partnership) for 2020 and 2021 are fully planned, managed and delivered on time and on budget. * To manage the effective flow of contracts and agreements, liaising on IP advice and ensure development of best practice * To contribute to the programmes strategic development by providing information for grant-sourcing and applications for funding using knowledge and resource planning. * To support and guide team members, escalating as necessary to specialist support areas and/or to the Director or COO. * To work with the Operational team to ensure that financial processes, monitoring and reporting are on time and in line with budgets. * To work with the Producers and Impact Analyst to ensure that applicants and the current cohort members are following process and achieving milestones, reporting and KPIs. * To work with the Communications and Engagement Manager to ensure that funding calls and processes are communicated to current and potential users and applicants to comply with project timelines. * To work with and support the Clwstwr Management Team in their work including managing the R&D programmes. * To establish working relationships with key contacts to help improve service levels, developing appropriate communication links with the University's Schools/Directorates and outside bodies a
