OVERVIEW: The SharePoint (Document) Administrator will take responsibility for the organisation of the company's document management requirements. This includes working with the business and partners to identify the most appropriate document management platform(s), adopting a working approach to centralise as much as where practically possible. Ensure that documents are made available to the appropriate consumers - whether direct through the document management solution, or 3rd party systems e.g. SAP, SalesForce, Teamcenter, HR and common project management platforms. Take ownership for the day-to-day governance of document eco-system including creation/upkeep of user/group permissions, data classification and security of documents. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Work with third party solution providers and implementation partners to implement an appropriate cloud-based document management approach. * Work with third party solution providers and implementation partners to implement an appropriate document management solution to ensure core IT systems can access documents in an efficient appropriate manner. * Work with the Data Architect to define and implement relevant document management governance framework. * Implement data classification capability. * Define data access approach, implement and then maintain appropriate permissions to documents. * In conjunction with the IT Security Manager ensure a robust security capability is agreed and then implemented. * Work on any ad hoc related projects or tasks as provided by Head of IT. * Work collaboratively with the various IT teams in order that they receive a fast, accurate and high-quality service. Requirements DESIRED EXPERIENCE: * Experience with defining cloud-hosted document management architectures, including governance and security. * 5 years+ SharePoint, or other document management platform experience (OpenText is a plus). * Confident with organising documents for different consumer groups (whether direct, or through a third party system e.g. SAP or SalesForce). * Work with business and data architect to implement document classification policy. * Ability to define and administer access control to documents. * Very good understanding of Office 365 suite of applications (Forms, Delve, OneDrive etc.). * Excellent IT skills especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * You will be self-motivated, be able to work independently but also as part of a team. * Project management experience will be beneficial.
