Job Description

Consultant Acute Medicine We are seeking to appoint Acute Medicine Physicians to join our current team of seven Acute Physicians at Tameside Hospital. The successful candidates will help us to continue to develop acute medical services within the Trust which includes responsibility for not only the acute medical units but also the same day emergency care and our Integrated Assessment Unit. These are 10 PA posts with 7.5 DCC and 2.5 SPAs which includes a requirement to support the Acute Medical team over a seven day period and up until 22:00. This is an exciting opportunity for you to have a central role in the development of Acute Medical Services and to participate in our exciting transformational programme as an Integrated Care Organisation, whilst providing high quality acute care for our patients. You must possess full registration with the General Medical Council with a licence to Practice and have completed Higher Training and be on the Specialist Register, or be within 6 months of obtaining CCT at the time of interview, CESR or European Community Rights.
