We are seeking an experienced Test Prep Product Manager to join the E&GS Professional Courses and Assessment Team within the English and Global Schools Courseware Group. The Product Manager holds accountability for delivering a product and /or portfolio using internal & external resources that meets market expectations for their assigned segment and drives revenue for Pearson as well as value for our customers. The role reports to the Director of Professional Courses & Assessment. Collaboration, partnership and active stakeholder management are foundational to success in this role. The role The ideal candidate will be an energetic and self-motivated Product Manager who is passionate about education. A great team player, and bursting with ideas to manage existing product brands, research, develop and deliver new blended and online products in the ELT Test Prep segment, from start to finish. With an initial emphasis on helping to grow the Pearson Tests of English courseware portfolio, you will be innovative, fast thinking, collaborative and proactive in your approach to opportunities. You will be required to keep your finger on the pulse of the ELT test prep market to identify emerging opportunities and gaps. With an excellent track record of proven commercial success, you will come up with innovative new ideas, research and develop proposals, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic, market winning products which meet customers' needs on time, to budget and to the highest quality. Alongside the development of new propositions you will take responsibility for existing brands within the ELT Test Prep portfolio, ensuring customer feedback is responded to, developments are timely and appropriate, ongoing sales and marketing plans are supported, and customer retention and revenue targets are met. Key Responsibilities * Working with colleagues in Geography, sales, marketing and also product marketing teams to support in the identification, assessment and prioritization of market opportunities & customer pain points in your assigned segment * Ensure focus on maximising both commercial and learner outcomes for your product(s) * Contribute to the creation of new products (using the product lifecycle methodology) and retire existing products as needed. In doing so, ensure optimal mix that addresses evolving segment needs & opportunities in the fields of Marketing & Strategy * Collaborate closely on projects with colleagues from the Content, Experience Design, Production, Efficacy & Learning Research, and Product Platform teams to create products that improve outcomes for learners and drive business value for Pearson. *
