Technical Support Manager - London 33,032 - 44,691 + Excellent benefits 40 hours per week, 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday We are BT Facilities Services, we are part of the BT Group of companies and we specialise in the facilities management industry. Our brilliant team provide a full range of building maintenance services to 7,000 BT buildings in the UK, the estate varies from commercial offices, telephone exchanges, data centres and retail shops The purpose of the Technical Support Manager Role is to support BTFS FM operational services and ensure compliance is achieved at all times. This will be achieved by providing a high standard of technical advice and providing a timely response to operational incidents and customer issues. The role will also oversee technical maintenance and repair operations to ensure that FM service delivery is not compromised. Duties will include: * Building and maintaining strong relationships with the operational teams in their designated area of responsibility * Providing technical expertise, support and consultancy when requested to do so by operational colleagues * Supporting asset and maintenance planning and contributing to the development of national strategies * Undertaking the planning and execution of maintenance and repair operations to ensure that a cost effective solution is provided without disruption to site operations and customers * Undertaking investigations and providing reports in relation to any operational incidents or issues when requested to do so * Support the evaluation, introduction and impact of new products, systems or processes for the delivery of technical services to customers * Supports the BTFS energy programme by regular liaison with the Energy Manager and other colleagues engaged in identifying and implementing energy saving measures * Undertake site inspections and audits, reporting these to the technical services director * Understand the environmental responsibilities and follow the BTFS environmental policy.
