Job Description

Our Concrete team has an open position for an Special Products Manager to work in the South Eastern region . You will be expected to maximise the selling opportunites tor Target Market Concrete products to bulk cement users and associated organisations such as Readymix, Precast, RTU Mortar, Dry-Silo and site batch operations and grow the pipeline for watertight concrete, Sikafume and fibers. You will achieve sales of admixtures through focus on defined cement user groups, consistently improve Sika's competitive position in the market and build relationships with architects, engineers, specifiers and contractors to obtain specification sales of admixtures and watertight concrete. This is a field-based role and Sika have offices in Welwyn Garden City, Preston and Leeds where you may have to come for meetings and training from time to time. Sika has a variety of products relevant to the concrete sector, including admixtures, compaction aids, hardening accelerators, grinding aids, and water reducers. Click here to learn more ACTIVITIES * Grow the Sika market share by building relationships with all cement user groups to provide technical knowledge on the performance of Sika admixtures under a variety of different applications. * Achieve pre-agreed sales targets for Sika products by increasing specifications of Sika's special products through positive relationship building with specifiers, contractors, and readymix suppliers. * Seek opportunities for trials and subsequent sales to readymix suppliers and other cement user groups. * Conduct and attend a variety of sales-related activities such as CPDs, tradeshows, and those associated with other industry bodies. * Ensure monthly reports are submitted to the Regional Sales Manager to ensure transparency throughout the business and to show an understanding of the territory and its ever changing market conditions. * Be thoroughly conversant with the Sika website, to promote it and assist customers in maximising its use, while also maintaining a working knowledge of competitor activity in the area and keeping management updated accordingly. * Ensure all relevant information is completed correctly and on time in Salesforce.com to assist in minimising any potential risk to the Sika business.
