We are now looking for a talented and enthusiastic Principal Medical Writer to join our team in London, Manchester or Macclesfield. As a Principal Medical Writer, you will take on full responsibility for your own work and consistently demonstrate breadth and quality of writing across a broad range of medical and commercially focused materials. You will also assist with editing and proofreading of text written by other team members and provide constructive feedback. You will take on line management responsibility (where applicable/appropriate) and provide ongoing mentoring and support to other writers, identifying training needs and contributing to training as required. In addition, you will provide strategic input into the business by contributing ideas to grow the business or improve efficiencies. In collaboration with client services you will take responsibility for the development of account plans for assigned accounts to help maximise opportunities for account development. To succeed, you will have a degree in the life sciences, ideally with a PhD or MSc, and previous relevant medical information, communications or marketing writing experience (agency or pharmaceutical).
