Medical Nurse Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has become available in our team of Medical Nurse Practitioners. The successful candidate will be allocated to our Cardiology department, consisting of CCU, cardiology ward & outpatient support. You will be a clinically based competent practitioner who will provide a seamless service to patients within the department of Cardiology. We are looking for an experienced clinical practitioner who possesses excellent decision making and patient assessment skills, with an extensive background in Cardiology nursing. You will demonstrate that you are passionate about improving the standard of patient care by utilising enhanced clinical skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for your patients. You will be computer literate and able to navigate the Lorenzo patient administration system. You will be a level one registered nurse with a degree in a relevant subject. You will have a minimum of three years post registration experience and have a range of extended and advanced skills or a willingness to undertake necessary training. You will be able to work well within a team and possess excellent clinical, communication and decision making skills combined with a calm and flexible professional manner. You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic and be keen to develop into the nurse practitioner role.
