Lecturing Roles: Business, Enterprise, Design Management, Mass Communication

Northumbria University in conjunction with QA Higher Education (QAHE) is expanding its portfolio of courses in Business and Business Creation (both at undergraduate level) and in Mass Communications Management and Design Management (both at postgraduate level) at the University's London campus located in Middlesex Street (near Liverpool Street Station). QAHE is seeking to expand its team of experienced lectures able to deliver on these programmes. In addition to being part of a team delivering high quality teaching and learning there is the potential for candidates to become involved in research activity with the wider Northumbria University teams. Candidates should be qualified to PhD level in a relevant field and be able to demonstrate an active research record. HEA membership, relevant professional experience and appropriate professional qualification would be advantageous. Support is available, if required, to help staff gain/ progress HEA membership. Backed by an excellent and contemporary subject knowledge successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a commitment to creating a high quality learning and teaching environment which focuses on the student experience and attainment. QAHE is interested in applicants seeking either permanent (full time and fractional) or sessional roles. Start dates are flexible though there some opportunities for teaching over the summer period given the multiple start dates for the programmes involved.
