Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 16:00 The role An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a driven and motivated Quality Assurance individual to join our food manufacturing technical team in our Premier Park Distribution Centre and Abbeydale Meals site in London. This role reports into the QA supervisor and involves working closely with our Quality Assurance team to ensure industry leading high standards of product safety, quality & legality. What will you do? You will be responsible for completing audits against Quality Management Systems, GMP and HACCP controls. You will help ensure the procedures that form our Quality System are followed across the site and that products leaving the factory & Distribution Centre meet our high-quality standards, customer expectation legal requirements. As QA Auditor for the distribution centre you will ensure all incoming raw materials are checked. In addition to this the finished products received across the three sites need to be checked to ensure no compromise to food safety and temperature abuse on arrival to distribution centre. Other responsibilities include pest control, fabrication audits, site audits such as BRC/ Palm Oil/ MSC/ GMP audits. About you? You will have previous experience within a similar Technical/QA role in an FMCG environment, with knowledge of the food environment being a real advantage. You will be an excellent communicator who can work on their own initiative and has a proactive and innovative approach to problem solving. You will always adopt a thorough and diligent approach to every task and you will be able to demonstrate our key values of customer care, can-do, teamwork and not just getting it right but keeping it right. About us Bakkavor Meals London is made up of 3 Sites in the Park Royal area of West London, these being Abbeydale Road, Elveden Place and Cumberland Avenue. There is also a Distribution Center serving these Sites at Premier Park. The three Sites have over 2,500 employees and supply over 300 products to Tesco, Waitrose, Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury and Co-Op.
