Job Description

The Staff Bank at Kingston Hospital are looking for an experienced Locum Band 7 Pharmacist to work within the Pharmacy department. We use the skills of our pharmacy staff, working as a team, to provide a high quality, professional pharmacy service to patients. The service is responsive to the needs of patients and is developing the use of IT to improve patient safety and efficiency. Skills we look for in our staff: * Good level of numeracy * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Good IT skills * Good team worker * Motivated * Reliable * Willing to learn * Ability to learn quickly * Adaptable * Commitment to CPD * Excellent time management * Innovative * Independence * Problem solving skills Please see the below essential requirements in order to be considered for this role: * Taught Masters Degree in Pharmacy * Membership of General Pharmaceutical Council * Post Graduate Clinical Diploma * Minimum of two years recent post-registration NHS hospital experience * Working as a clinical pharmacist on wards * Demonstrable experience in general clinical practice including medicine and surgery * Cerner (CRS) EPrescribing We will require you to provide/complete the following during the recruitment process: * Proof of Right to Work in the UK * * An Enhanced DBS * Occupational Health Clearance * Unfortunately due to the nature of the role we will be unable to support Tier 2 sponsorship Visas.
