Job Description

Vortexa is looking for a London-based Product Specialist for our fast growing EMEA region. This exciting opportunity will allow you to combine product and energy market knowledge to work closely with our clients, partners and prospects, helping them maximise the value from using Vortexa's information & analytics platform. You will also play a key role in shaping the evolution of our product roadmap based on your direct insights and experience from all your market interactions. Requirements Key responsibilities: * Deep understanding of Vortexa's information & analytics platform as well as an overall understanding of our methodologies, data & modelling processes and flows * Conduct impressive product demos to clients, partners and prospects * Drive engagement of users during product trials, on-boarding and post-sales * Develop and maintain a robust and current library of examples in which Vortexa-derived insights influenced or related to developments in the oil markets * Support the expansion and growth of the EMEA business, through sales, marketing and recruitment * Work closely with the EMEA Commercial team in ongoing business development activities, including input to the commercial strategy and helping to build customer networks * Support upselling by encouraging client usage of the Vortexa SDK/API & other additional services and facilitating integration of Vortexa solutions within client workflows * Develop strong relationships with clients, serving as a key advocate of clients inside Vortexa * Contribute to product roadmap for the EMEA region in prioritisation discussions as well as participate in a wide range of product improvement initiatives * Lead internal and external training as well as development of in-house market knowledge * Help raise the brand awareness and profile of Vortexa in the EMEA region * Build and maintain industry networks in the EMEA region * Attend and present at industry and in-house events Our ideal candidate will have: * Around 3+ years relevant experience in a market analysis/research, consulting or customer facing role related to the oil & gas markets * Broad understanding of market fundamentals, contracts/pricing structures and trading strategies * Customer-success orientation: Presenting to and fulfilling requests from demanding clients on deadline * Highly proficient in advanced excel and data analysis * Experience producing written materials and presentations * Results-orientated focus, with the ability to efficiently prioritise multiple objectives We are: * A vibrant company pushing ourselves and the technology to deliver beyond the cutting edge * A team of motivated characters and top minds striving to be the best at what we do at all times * Learning something new ourselves and help learn others every day * Acting as company owners, which all of us are - in a business-savvy and responsible way * Enjoying a friendly working environment * Not only professionals and teammates but often friends, finishing the week enjoying a glass of a favourite drink together Benefits In return we offer... * A vibrant and diverse place to work, we are a company pushing ourselves and technology to deliver beyond the cutting edge * An open, collaborative and supportive working culture built on merit, which celebrates creative thinking and 'getting things done' * A competitive remuneration package * Private health care * The opportunity to work with AI driven technology in a start-up environment with industry experts in commodity trading * Equity - we're all acting as business-savvy and responsible company owners, whilst having fun and enjoying the journey together along the way * Continuous training and development opportunities * Work Perks - discounted travel and cinema tickets, shopping and travel * Friday socials, games and monthly pizza (although currently this is 'Virtual Vortexa Friday' with updates, workshops and fun stuff!)
