Job Description
Technical Project Manager This is an excellent opportunity to mature Maven's Technology group in running and executing projects. You will providepredictability in delivery and prevent over utilisation. You will also increase shared ownership amongst Tech leads and provide an interface to the rest of the organisation. The Technical Project Manager will work primarily with the Functional Architect group as new services/designs are scoped out by this role in conjunction with tech leads. What you're going to do: * Ensure that each technology team has accurate project scoping, prioritisation and resource management * Allow technical staff to experience the upside of project management: become a true value add, set good standards and strive for a high level of sophistication * Ensure TPM tickets/projects are embedded into our current and future processes (Jira) * Ensure TPM tickets can be utilised by Business development * Focus on the objectives of the group and act as a custodian What we offer: * A great engineering environment whereby Technology is key to our success * The upside of start-up without the associated risks * Great, friendly, informal and highly rewarding culture * Informal dress code, loads of social events, etc. * Fast growing global firm with plenty of opportunity where you will have a significant impact What your going to need: * End-to-end project management experience * Ability to clearly identify tech resource and capacity * Experienced Project Manager who can utilise an array of project methods and ensure that these various methods are embedded into a standardised stream * Ability to communicate and reason effectively with key stakeholders Maven is a proprietary trading and market making organisation formed in 2011.
