Software Developer in Test As a Software Developer in Test What you'll do: * Design and develop software features that are delightful and vital to the lives of credit card consumers across all walks of life. * Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver features on the product roadmap. * Build platforms that are performant, reliable, scalable and secure. * Contribute to the software architecture and delivery process for the team. What we're looking for: As a Software Engineer you're intrigued by multiple languages and use the right tool for the job. * You have a proven ability to deliver high quality applications. * You have a good working knowledge of modern OO languages such as Java, SOLID principles, SOA, HTTP and REST. * You have a good working knowledge of Swift or Kotlin * You have a good working knowledge of modern web frameworks such as React.js and Node.js. * You are able to produce efficient, automated testing solutions using frameworks such as Cucumber [and Rest Assured/, XCUITest and Espresso/, Protractor and Jasmine]. * You are excited by the cloud and the opportunities that it brings. * You enjoy solving real world problems and are comfortable working in a complex regulated environment. * You are able to effectively communicate and collaborate with other engineers in the team. * You care about quality and are happy to use approaches such as Pair Programming, TDD and BDD Capital One is committed to diversity in the workplace.
