The RLAM IT Applications team are responsible for supporting all production business applications as well as managing and promoting IT change surrounding these systems, whether this is business process change or system developments. Key Accountabilities * To lead and perform manual quality assurance and testing on various applications that are central to the RLAM business, in particular MarkitEDM. This in turn will contribute to the overall aim to provide an effective testing framework that will ensure confidence and control around the system change process for RLAM business applications. * Create / identify / adapt reusable test scripts to provide full coverage of business requirements together with regression testing that will meet appropriate levels of control for quality, risk and audit purposes * Execute test scripts and provide MI and evidence that will meet appropriate levels of control for quality, risk and audit purposes * When appropriate act as the lead for a small team of QA analysts. * Investigate issues identified and if appropriate raise as defects, working with developers, BA's etc. to ensure their timely resolution * Review and provide feedback on Business Requirements / User Stories to ensure that they are fully understood, unambiguous and testable * Work proactively with the QA Lead to provide input to continuous improvement across all aspects of testing e.g. testing framework, environments, interaction with and support of UAT * To become involved in Test Automation as that becomes core to the QA model Skills and Experience * Processing and mastering of Market Data in a Financial Institution in particular incoming vender data. * Testing of complex data transformation and its relationship with other data items * Creating comprehensive test cases from complex business requirements * Test execution, raising informative defects and managing them through to resolution * Timely, informative and accurate updates / reporting, including escalation as appropriate to achieve the best results * test planning and estimation, with consideration of appropriate methods to increase throughput e.g. scripting or automation Essential Criteria * ESG experience * TFS / Azure DevOps / MS Test Manager * API testing * Good communicator with ability to work directly with key IT teams, project teams, users and fund managers * String trading applications and workflows experience * Understand and work with Agile methodologies * Strong SQL skills Desirable Criteria * Experience in Automated testing methods / tools / frameworks * Experience working in an Asset Management environment * thinkFolio, Murex and MarkitEDM experience * Experience dealing with users and/or vendors from both a business and technical perspective What we offer * We've always been proud to reward employees by offering a number of benefits such as Pensions and Protection, Performance and role-related benefits, Lifestyle and Wellbeing * Our culture comes from within, or to put it another way, it comes from our people.
