About the area you'll be working in We have a network of Health Clinics across the UK that provide a range of private Health services such as physiotherapy, health assessments, GP appointments and our growing provision of mental health services. What you'll be doing Working onsite in one of our key client's workplaces in either London City or Canary Wharf, the Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist will provide a high quality, effective and safe mental wellbeing service across agreed sectors of care to our client's eligible employees. You will be a first point of clinical contact for many employees with potential mental health issues and concerns. You will also work closely with our client, monitoring key in-business wellbeing issues (e.g. absence) whilst devising, recommending and delivering strategies for change. Clinical: * To complete comprehensive psychological assessments of referred employees using evidence-based methods. * To clinically formulate intervention plans including using Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (online or face-to-face/Skype/telephone) for employees with a range of problems from mild to severe and complex. * To signpost and refer onwards to appropriate pathways of care as and when required. * To use CBT to help employees to achieve lifestyle changes by facilitating SMART goal setting; action planning; support strategizing and skills enhancement; support and motivate employees to make the changes needed to achieve their personal goals. For example, Assertiveness - Stress Management - Work/Life Balance - Returning to Work - Diet - Exercise - Personal Achievement - Communication & Relationship Skills. * To maintain a clinical caseload, within agreed limits and under supervision of the Clinical Lead. * To provide psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals in a multidisciplinary team as required. * To effectively assess and triage all clients and signpost to the most appropriate treatments, resources and therapies. * To provide ad-hoc or one-off wellbeing support and coaching as and when required. * To utilise evidence-based literature and research to support practice in all facets of clinical work. * To promote evidence-based practice throughout our services to other professionals and motivate others to advance practice and improve quality of care. * To promote and develop positive and productive/effective working relationships with other multidisciplinary team members. * To direct eligible employees to any of the relevant client support functions which may include occupational health and human resources. Teaching and Training: * Monitoring of key in-business wellbeing issues, devising, recommending and delivering strategies for change. * To work at a client level to provide group psychoeducation, raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing, promotion of mental wellbeing guidance via webinar, presentation, workshop events and training as and when required. * To contribute to internal (Bupa) staff development activities as appropriate. Research and Audit: * To contribute to appropriate evaluation and audit research within mental health topics found to be particularly prevalent within the Client's population. * To participate in and contribute to clinical audit, health outcomes measures and service evaluation with colleagues, to help evaluate and improve service provision. Professional Responsibilities: * To participate in regular clinical professional supervision and appraisal as consistent with the requirements of the role and the post holder's professional practice. * To maintain and develop the highest standards of practice, through active participation in continuing professional development and maintaining an active engagement with current developments in psychological practice in areas related to the post. * To be able to identify client clinical risk and escalate through the appropriate channels for advice and support. Who we're looking for? * ESSENTIAL to hold Provisional or Full British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) Accreditation * At least 5 years' experience in a similar role providing high intensity CBT interventions, working with clients who have a range of presentations. * Experience of managing own caseload, working towards individual targets and outcomes. * IT Skills including pro
