Job Description

Role and Responsibilities Summary The primary focus will be responsibility for the quality of the regional revenue forecast and associated analyses, providing expert support to the regional sales team for business development opportunities, and bringing commonality across the region for revenue management, sales strategy and contracts. Key Responsibilities * Responsible for ensuring all statutory requirements and deadlines are met for each of the jurisdictions including but not limited to Annual Accounts and Tax Returns. * Responsible for ensuring timely completion of Monthly reports including all corporate reporting requirements * Manage & co-ordinate monthly forecasting and annual budgeting for review by Area Leaders, EURAF Finance Leader and Regional Management team * Manage and lead a Finance team to support the Central/Southern business operations * Prepare and present the respective P&L and BS for each entity on a periodic basis (minimum monthly reviews of P&L and quarterly reviews of BS) * Work with the EURAF Finance Leader on continuous improvement projects related to standardization of reporting templates, improving the quality of reports, standardization of P&L and BS reviews, BS reconciliations, etc. * Ensure all appropriate financial controls and processes are understood and adhered to. * Focal point of contact for all projects such as simulator relocations, BD initiatives, divestment, VAT harmonization, Bank consolidation, Payroll outsourcing and management, etc. * Manage the cash flows for each respective unit within the portfolio to ensure appropriate liquidity is maintained, including review of bi-weekly cash flow forecasts. * Work closely with corporate team, advisors & EURAF Finance Director r to ensure that group tax leakage is minimised. * Effective leadership to ensure each team member understand their roles and responsibilities and to ensure each finance task is completed in a timely and professional manner * Ad-hoc projects assigned to support varying business and/or corporate requirements. * Any other duties Experience/Qualifications * Must hold a mainstream finance qualification with experience in a commercial environment in a Group Reporting role. * Experience of IFRS reporting, * Good leadership & personnel management skills. * Good organisational capabilities * Should demonstrate a straight forward & practical manner to the solving of problems * Industry experience not essential Competencies * Delivers results - driven to achieve results and deliver against objectives * Communication - positive and concise communication style, with ability to engage and communicate clearly and confidently at all levels. * Highly organised * Relationship builder and manager * Influencing - persuasive selling skills * Flexibility - adaptive to change, technically as well as personally * Team player - operating within a global finance team * High level of accuracy and confidentiality Special Features * Some requirement to travel on an ad hoc basis but not extensively (up to 25% maximum) * Knowledge of Dutch and/or Spanish highly desirably and preferable but not essential Position Type Regular CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
