Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person to join our busy Chemotherapy and day procedures unit. We provide nursing care for oncology and haematology patients receiving chemotherapy, supportive therapies and stem cell harvesting. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, to contribute to the provision of the highest standards of patient care delivered with dignity, respect and compassion. This job description is to be read in conjunction with the core skills list for this particular job. The successful candidate must have good communication skills and be able to work well as part a team. You must be flexible in your approach and be able to respond to the demands of an ever changing workload. This is a day unit facility routinely providing services Monday through to Saturdays, with flexibility to provide services on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
