Typical patients have previously been in hospital or step up care following an illness or incident at home which requires some stabilisation or therapy input prior to returning home. Shaw Healthcare operates the service in partnership with Herefordshire Clinical Commissioning Group with a dedicated team of experienced nursing staff supported by GP's, occupational and physiotherapy and other healthcare professionals. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a nurse to work primarily in the Minor Injuries department which is a 24 hour nurse led unit for assessment and treatment of patients with a wide range of injuries less than 48 hours old. You will have at least 5 years experience of working in a minor injuries environment or an accident and emergency department, and achieved relevant qualification in the care and treatment of patients with minor injuries. You will be given support and training to develop your clinical skills and management skills, including opportunities to gain qualifications at Masters level.
