Job Description

**Location:** London Office, UK **Position Summary:** Product Sales Managers lead their teams to drive revenue growth for assigned brands within their sales region. The teams they lead consist of Sales Engineers (outside selling) and Product Sales Representatives (inside selling) who sell product licenses and subscriptions as well as related services. Product Sales Managers are responsible for achieving team sales quotas and goals for those licenses, subscriptions, and services. Product Sales Managers build their teams to support both outbound and inbound business, help develop sales campaigns and lead their execution, provide sales coaching, support face-to-face visits with users and prospects, forecast sales revenues, and help their team remove any internal or external obstacles that impede building pipeline and/or closing sales. As a result, it is essential for Product Sales Managers to build relationships and collaborate not just within their own teams, but with leaders of complementary teams at Bentley. **Your Day-to-Day:** + Responsible for leading a team of sales engineers and product sales representatives that sell assigned brands into both net new and existing users. + Create effective business plans and lead plan execution to exceed quota. + Coach to Bentley Sales Process to help your team members effectively and reliably qualify / disqualify, advance, forecast, and close opportunities. + Fully utilize SAP Cloud for Sales (C4S) and Qlikview as daily sales tool and reporting system. + Help team members overcome internal and external obstacles to building pipeline and closing business. + Support team members' face-to-face meetings when necessary to help advance opportunities and provide developmental feedback to sales engineers. + Conduct weekly one-to-one pipeline reviews with direct reports to support the creation and maintenance of an accurate sales forecast for assigned brands. + Liaise with marketing and product management to create sales campaigns and then lead campaign execution with your team. + Work with HR and sales operations to lead human resource planning (recruitment, selection, onboarding, evaluation, development, etc.) for your team. + Ensure team members can effectively promote our value proposition to designers, engineers, architects, contractors and owners. + Detailed knowledge and understanding of all Commercial Offerings and Software Support Policies + Coach team members to negotiate sales and/or service agreements. + Maintain a high knowledge level of the company's solutions and services. **What You Bring to The Team:** + Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, business administration, or equivalent. + Previous sales management experience required. + AEC industry experience and/or technology selling experience required. + You can communicate a vision, understand how to leverage Bentley's offerings and commercial models to achieve the vision, and set appropriate team goals. + You can effectively align goals with other teams you do not directly manage. + You have a collaborative nature and can build relationships with other stakeholders in the organization. + You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to effectively communicate complex topics and provide feedback both to colleagues and users face-to-face, on the phone, and by email. + You have a continuous learning mindset that you encourage with your team. + You can effectively set expectations for performance, coach and manage to those expectations, and provide appropriate feedback to your team to enable continuous improvement. + You are accountable for and take ownership of your team's performance and results. + You see the opportunity in change and are flexible and adaptable. + Software proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required; experience with Qlikview / SAP Cloud for Sales is preferred. + You have the ability to travel up to 30% of your time. **What We Offer:** + Competitive remuneration package and excellent benefits. + A professional, supportive and collaborative environment. + Colleague Recognition Awards. + City Centre location with excellent public transport links. + Social and team building events. **Who We Are:** Bentley Systems is the leading global provider of software solutions to engineers, architects, geospatial professionals, constructors, and owner-operators for the design, construction, and operations of infrastructure.
